Open 7 days a week, our restaurant has been described as “relaxed and welcoming” and has gained a justified reputation for fine dining.

All our meals are freshly prepared and diners can choose from a selection of starters and main courses followed by desserts.  Coffee and mints are served in the lounge.  Our menus are continually adapted to make best use of local and seasonal produce.  And because each dish is prepared from scratch, our chef is more than happy to cater for individual food allergies or specific dietry requirements.  If we know far enough in advance, then individual dishes can be catered for.

We take orders between 7pm and 8pm each night and are also open to non-residents (though booking in advance is essential).   

Our wines are supplied by Tanners Wines and our wine list - small but perfectly formed - has been drawn up with our cuisine very much in mind.  It has been approved by none other than wine expert, Olly Smith who offers suggestions for wines to accompany your meal and Tweets (@sychnantpch) “Loving your wine list … let me help you dive in and have a rummage through Janet and Hugh’s glorious selection.”
